Roy Family Award

Last summer I traveled to Myanmar (Burma) to work with Jim and Debbie Taylor from International Development Enterprises | Myanmar (IDE|M). I was able to go there thanks to many people and thanks to many organizations. This small post is to thank the Roy Family Award administered by the Belfer Center, in the Harvard Kennedy School.

This opportunity was a life-changing experience to observe how modest technology transfers can make a huge difference using market based approach to improve the lives of small plot farmers. They do account for the majority of the world's population.
