Shall I say it?

Today, I received an email discussing if an action with merciful intentions that cause harm generates merit. The discussion ended in 6 key suggestions on the Right Speech:

If it’s not true, not beneficial, and disagreeable, don’t say it.

If it’s not true, not beneficial, and agreeable, don’t say it.

If it’s true, not beneficial, and disagreeable, don’t say it.

If it’s true, not beneficial, and agreeable, don’t say it.

If it’s true, beneficial, and disagreeable, know when to say it.

If it’s true, beneficial, and agreeable, know when to say.

I guess the tricky part comes from having the wisdom of knowing when to say it. Smile.
